Lucy had her birthday party today. To celebrate her Purpleness, Anabel and I made these. We learned how to from Bakerella, whom I cannot recommend highly enough. Check out her website at bakerella.com; you'll be happy you did.
They weren't exactly easy, but if you go on YouTube, there are several videos posted there that explain things very well. There are a few important things to note, like to freeze the cakepops before coating them and to shake off the excess chocolate for a LONG time so it doesn't drip down the stick. The videos help you with all that. They taste very, very rich. I expected the girls to eat two each, but most could only handle one!

I'm an aging Canadian who discovers more and more that the chronicling of the journey is really pretty fun. This blog has become my little way of practicing to be a big girl writer.
Make my day and drop me a comment! To click the 'Like' icon for Facebook would tangibly help me in building my online readership so that one day I can look way cooler than I really am to a would-be publisher. Consider it; I'd be really grateful.
